Building type

Schools and education

A campus has about ten weeks a year when real work can happen and forty weeks when the building is full of children. Everything deferred in June becomes an emergency in October.

We serve K-12 campuses, district facilities, private schools, charter networks and higher education buildings across the Houston area.

Education work is calendar-driven in a way almost no other vertical is. Summer is when floors get stripped, HVAC gets serviced, painting happens and deferred maintenance closes. Missing that window costs a year.

Public districts and higher education institutions frequently require diversity vendor status, competitive procurement and specific insurance limits as qualifying criteria. Those are entry conditions, not preferences.

What differs here

What schools & education actually requires

  • Summer window execution

Floor care, painting, HVAC service and deferred maintenance planned against the academic calendar and staffed to finish inside it.

  • Background screening

Staff screening to district requirements, documented before anyone is on campus.

  • Occupied-campus discipline

In-session work sequenced after hours or in isolated zones, with access controlled and egress maintained.

  • Procurement compliance

Cooperative purchasing, competitive bid and insurance requirements handled as part of the response rather than after award.

  • Athletics and grounds

Fields, hardscape, parking and bus loop maintenance and striping on the district's cycle.

Questions we actually get asked

Are your staff background checked for campus work?

Yes, to the district's own requirement, and the documentation is produced before anyone is on site rather than on request afterwards.

Can you complete a summer scope inside the break?

That is the only version of the scope worth quoting. Summer work is staffed and sequenced against the return date, and any scope we cannot finish in the window is said out loud before it is priced.
