Building type
Government and municipal
Public buildings are procured, not bought. The contract is won on a compliant response to a written solicitation, and the best vendor with an incomplete package loses to a worse vendor with a complete one.
We serve municipal buildings, public facilities, civic and administrative space, and public authority property across the Houston region.
Public work has a front door and it is the procurement process. Insurance limits, bonding, prevailing wage where applicable, diversity vendor status and cooperative purchasing vehicles are qualifying criteria before anyone reads the scope.
Houston First Corporation is on our client wall. Public and quasi-public entities are a served segment here, not an aspiration.
What differs here
What government & municipal actually requires
Solicitation response
RFP, RFQ and IFB responses assembled to the actual submission requirements rather than to a generic capability statement.
Insurance and bonding
Limits, additional insured status and bonding confirmed against the solicitation before bid.
Cooperative purchasing
Where a cooperative vehicle is available it is usually the faster path, and it is checked first.
Public-hours discipline
Work in buildings with public access scheduled around service hours and public meetings.
Documentation
Reporting and inspection records produced in the format the contract requires, on the contract's interval.
Priority order
Where government & municipal buyers usually start
Questions we actually get asked
Can you meet public sector insurance and bonding requirements?
Limits and bonding capacity are confirmed against the specific solicitation before bid. Ask for the current certificate and we will send it rather than describe it.
Do you hold diversity vendor status?
Ask us directly and you will get a direct answer. We do not publish a status we have not verified, and in municipal contracting that is a qualifying criterion rather than a marketing line.
